Mercy Southworth was born probably at Duxbury in the late 1670's; died before 15 January 1729/1730 (her husband's second marriage).

Mercy married, probably about 1700-1701 (estimated birth of first child), Moses Soule, son of John Soule and his wife Rebecca Simmons and grandson of Mayflower passenger George Soule (MF, 3:16; MFIP Soule, #15), born at Duxbury, about 1669 (MF, 3:16); died between 9 May 1748 (list of qualified voters MD, 18:233) and 25 January 1748/9 (administration).
