Narrative
Further, the maiden name of his wife Alice is not known. It hasnot been shown to be Atwood, Poretiers, or any of the otheridentifications that are floating around. [Mayflower Descendant44:44]. The identification of her as Alice Atwood is basedsolely on the fact that William Mullins mentions a "GoodmanWoodes" in his will. That is clearly not enough evidence tomake a genealogical connection! There is no evidence at all toshow that Alice was the daughter of Nicholas Atwood ofWestminster, Middlesex as claimed by the I.G.I. and AncestralFiles of the Morman church.
