A resident ofYonkers for 20 years, he was born April 25, 1896 in Albany,N.Y., to the late Francis D. and Helen Fisher Graves. Heattended public schools in Albany and Springfield, Mass. Mr.Graves was a veteran of World War I and had served in France. Hewas a director of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Societyin Boston and was a treasurer of the local chapter in New YorkCity. An employee of the New York Central Railroad for 40years, he retired four years ago as process engineer. Mr.Graves is survived by his wife, the former Maud Gage; a sister,Mrs. Charles H. (Helen) Weymouth Jr. of Harwich, Mass., a nieceand a nephew.
