Also, per "WOODWARD DESCENDANTS,"Boston City records for 12 Jun 1637, contains an entry with thefollowing information: "Geroge Woodward, sopeboyler(soalboiler?), was found a delinquent for an unlawful entry uponsome of the town's ground and for digging holes and annoying thehighway with stinking fish to forfeitures of L3-4s-8d." Itfurther says he was a resident of Watertown by 1641 and hadstarted a family by that date.
