Narrative
Daughter Mary Hamilton was mentioned in the 1697 division of herfather Samuel Smith's estate. "Mary Smith, alis Hamilton" sharedin her mother's estate in 1700, and son-in-law Daniel Hamiltonwas administrator of that estate. Nathaniel Snow, son of Joseph,testified in 1753 that in 1709 he went to Chatham to reside withfather-in-law (i.e. stepfather) Daniel Hambleton, deceased.
