r152 Testified to Grand Inquest 15 Sep 1692 (Witchcraft))Philip Nelson and Sarah his wife gave evidence against MargaretScott of Rowley, indicted for witchcraft. "Phillip Nelson andSarah, his wife, doe testifie and say, that for two or threeyears before Robert Shillets dyed, we have heard him complainingof Margaret Scott for hurting of him, and often said that shewas a witch, saying he should never be well so long as MargaretScott lived, and so he complained of Margaret Scott all timesuntil he died. Philip Nelson and Sarah his wife, affirmed upontheir oath, to ye Grand Inquest, that ye above written inquestis the truth. September 15, 1692"
