He was lame in one leg. Always poor in purse, "Uncle Nat" wasrich in a cheerful temperment and was a kind, jovial happy man.He lived in Buxton, Hollis and Searsmont. Because of his povertyhe was apparently a "squatter" on common land of the towns ofBuxton and Hollis, having a small house at each.
