I have a copy his obituary.!OBITUARY: EDWARD FRENCH LAID TO REST SATURDAY Funeral servicesfor Edward French, 79, of Elk Point, who died Wednesday of lastweek in a Sioux City nursing home, were at 3 P.M. Saturday atthe Assembly of God church in Elk Point. Rev. J. Routierofficiated and burial was in the Elk Point Cemetary under theAnderson Funeral Home of Elk Point. Mr. French was born December12, 1880, at Postville, Iowa. He married Agnes Dutton October11, 1910, in Elk Point and had resided here ever since.Survivors include the widow; four daughters, Mrs. LucilleMcDonald of Kelseyville, Cal., Mrs. Inis Brudennick, ofStockton, Cal., Mrs. Bonnie Loecker of Kansas City, Mo., andMrs. Helen Austin, of Elk Point; three sons, Merrill, Cliffordand Walter, all of elk Point; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Trudeau, ofElk Point, and Mrs. Cynthia Martin of Lincoln; Two brothers,George of Hot Springs, S.D. and James of Joliet, Ill; 14grandchildren;three step-grandchildren and sixgreat-grandchildren.
