Narrative
"Mr. Weymouth's limited educational opportunities were confinedto winter months, his labor during the summer being considerednecessary family assets, but few men of his day were betteracquainted with the history of their country. He was a farmer atAbbot in his early married life. Later, he went to Sangerville, from where he enlisted for civil war, hardships and privationsof which undermined his health, and he lived but a few yearsafter his return home; continual sufferer but thoughtful forcomfort and welfare of others. Naturally gentle, variouselements of character so blended that it could be said, "Herewas a man." Comparatively young when he died -- one of thesacrifices to his country."
