Narrative
Ammi Ross Littlefield [1849-1921] son of Captain William T. andSusan H. Ross Littlefield. He married Dora S. Rose [Rose'sPoint]. Their home, now the home of their daughter Ada Gowen,is above Littlefield or Central Landing, at the head of whichAmmi had his store for many years. He went as a cook on theLittlefield sloops at the age of 12, and worked on the PortlandBreakwater. In later years, besides operating the store, he wasa school teacher and Justice of the Peace.
