BURI SOUR Walter is buried in Newhouse Cemetery.Walter Eli McNamee, b. 1887: Walter Eli McNamee was born onMarch 27, 1887 on a farm at Bashan, in Meigs Co., Ohio anddeparted this life October 30, 1974 at Grady Memorial Hospital,Delaware, Ohio at the age of 86 years. He was the son of Eli andLaura Colmer McNamee. In 1911 he came to Delaware where helived and farmed the rest of his life. On July 6, 1918 he wasunited in marriage to Ruth Crawford. He was a Veteran of WorldWar I, serving in the Army. He was a member and past Commanderof Smith-Lawton Post 1749, World War I Veterans Organization ofDelaware. He also was a member of the Warrensburg IOOF Lodgefor 55 years and member of the Delaware Senior Citizens Group ofDelaware. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; three daughters:Mrs. James Baker (Irene), Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Gerald Koster(Pauline), Baudette, Minnesota and Mrs. Kenneth Knight(Justine), Delaware, Ohio; one son, Walter C. of HillcrestHeights, Maryland; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren;one sister, Mrs. Esta Wise, Mingo Junction, Ohio and severalnieces and nephews.
