See"Mayflower Families to Date, A Critical Examination" by Dr. NeilD. Thompson, FASG, in The Genealogist, Vol. 1, No. 1, Spring1980, pages 228-229. As a result of that, and other questions,Volume 3 is now "out of print", in effect withdrawn by theMayflower Society. It is being revised and there is a new MFIPas to Soule, under the research now of Robert S. Wakefield,FASG. This revision eliminates Patience Walker who marriedFrancis Drake as a descendant of the Francis Walker who marriedElizabeth Soule, daughter of Mayflower passenger George Soule.Insofar as the Mayflower book lists descendants of Patience,however, it appears to be fairly accurate. Her descendants,however, should not be considered as Mayflower descendants.
