Narrative
Thomas Goodwin resided in Berwick and married Elizabeth Abbottbefore 1723. He is called "Junior" on the Berwick records;perhaps junior to his uncle, Thomas, or to his cousin Thomas. Heis called "Senior" in 1729, according to Captain Goodwin's copy, but Rev. George Lewis copies it for me as "Junior." I simplycannot place him, unless he were a son of James, as Thomas, sonof Daniel, married Abigail Seward, and Thomas, son of Thomas, married Elizabeth Butler, and these two, were the only sons ofDaniel who had sons names Thomas, unless Daniel's son James hadsuch a son. I think Thomas was a son of James. Thomas resided inBerwick.
