Narrative

bp. "at age" as Martha Dutch Jr. in Salem in June 1694, m. inSalem on 13 April 1699 to John Legro, a Jersey-man of Danvers;both living in 1735; they had eight children including a sonHezekiah. Martha Mazury alias Dutch was bp. "at age" in Salemon 13 January 1716/7, was very probably her illegitimatedaughter. John Legro, tailor, his wife Martha, and Mary Ashton,both of Marblehead and heirs of Osmund Dutch through theirfather Hezekiah; sold land in Gloucester to Epes Sargent ofGloucester on 23 July 1730 [ELR 54:213].
