Narrative

They lived in the Chelmsford-Westford area, near the farm ofJohn Hutchins, Jr., on ot very near land originally granted toThomas' father, George Robbins.In his will dated 9 August 1765, witnessed by Stephen Shattuck,Thomas Hardy, Jr., and Lydia Hardy, Thomas Robbins gave all hisestate, both real and personal, to his wife Sarah and named heexecutrix. On 3 August 1768 Sarah sent a note to Judge Danforthsaying that "upon Paruseing the will I thought it good fornothing so I Dont intend to git it Proved So I Being not able tomake Settlement my Self I Desire that My Son Philip Robbenswould Take administration in my Behalf he Being the oldest[living] Son."
