The Jonathan Pratt who married Abigail Wood or Atwood, was a son of Joshua (1) and Bathsheba Pratt, of Plymouth. Jonathan was born in Plymouth circa 1634, and Abigail Wood was a daughter of Stephen and Abigail (Dunham) Atwood, of Plymouth. Abigail Pratt died about 1684, and Jonathan remarried to Elizabeth (White) Hall, daughter of Nicholas White, of Taunton, and widow of Samuel Hall, of Taunton, on 3 Mar. 1689/90 in Taunton. Jonathan was living in Taunton in 1693, when he was an appraiser of the estate of John Hall Sr., of Taunton. Jonathan died before 29 Oct. 1698 when his widow, Elizabeth Pratt, signed for receipt ofher share of the estate of her father, Nicholas White. I found no probate records for Jonathan Pratt in Bristol County. Bethiah Pratt, daughter of Jonathan and Abigail Pratt, was born 8 Aug.1679 in Plymouth. I have no information on her marriage to Benjamin Prior. Joshua Pratt came to Plymouth Colony in 1623 aboard the "Anne." He was a Freeman in Plymouth by 1633, and was chosen as Messenger of the Court and Constable on 1 Jan. 1633/4, which position he held until sometime after 1638. He died in Plymouth in 1656, and his widow, Bathsheba, signed his inventory on 6 Oct. 1656. She remarried to John Doggett/Daggett, of Martha's Vineyard, on 29 Aug. 1667 in Plymouth.
