(p.107).3 Sept 1671 John BIGELOW and Thomas FLAGG Sr. were appointed toput out the children of Edward SANDERSON apprentice the returnof Thomas FLAGG and John BIGELOW was that they had put out theoldest of the two of amatter eight years of age to John FLAGG as an apprentice tillshe be eighteen years of age, the said John FLAGG was to haveher well pareled at her coming to him and to have for hiscurigment fifty shilling to be paid in his rations to the town,(p.107).r24:29-41 John Bigelow was a blacksmith. He took an oath offidelity in 1652 and was selectman in Watertown in 1665, 1670and 1671. His marriage to Mary Warren is the first to be foundin Watertown. His inventory in 1703 was Pounds 627,12. His willwas dated 4 Jan 1702/3 and proved either 23 or 28 Jul 1703.
