This may be a daughter of Arthur Hamilton.Verna Hamilton Jones (nee Verna Gertrude Hamilton), bornChebeague Island December 19th 1903, daughter of ArthurHamilton and Georgia Littlefield Hamilton, died in Yarmouth onOctober 16th 1996. She is survived by a sister Edna HamiltonWebber of Yarmouth, a daughter, Sally Jones Harris and ason-in-law, Austin Harris, of Yarmouth, a granddaughter, JaneHarris of Yarmouth, a grandson Scott Harris of Yarmouth, and agrandson Randall Harris, of New York City. Verna Hamilton Jonesserved the children of this area as a beloved teacher over thecourse of a very long teaching career. Surviving her onChebeague are Gerald Littlefield, Leila Bisharat, BarbaraMarshall, George Bates and their families. She was buried inPine Grove Cemetery in Falmouth Foreside.
