listed as Apr 20, 1832 in Death Notices from Freewill BaptistPub.From History of Monmouth and Wales[:ITAL]:[:UND] "Enoch Stroutsettled on the farm on which his grandson, Charles W. Stroutlives and built a log cabin on the spot now covered by Mr.Strout's hen house. Four years later it was replaced with aFramed house. Enoch Strout came from Limington, Maine. He was aveteran of the Revolution, and the first commissioned officerof the local military company.
