The records of Kittery show theintention of marriage June 29, 1765, Samuel WARREN and MaryANDREWS. He resided for a time in Bristol, Maine, and in 1788was sent to survey what is now Islesboro, ME. The chart whichhe made may be found in the History of Islesboro and shows hiscareful and energetic work. He was of great help in drawing tothat town a fine class of settlers whose descendants are widelyknow in the Pine Tree State and in all sections of the country.He was selectman of the town from 1795 to 1807. He married aMiss Porter, a woman of great energy and helpfulness, and theirchildren were: John, George, Benjamin, Samiel, Betsey, Martha.Samuel Warren and Mary Andross, both of Berwick filed intentionof marriage June 29, 1765, certification recorded July 20, 1765(Stackpole & Folsom) Mary Andrews was born August 4, 1728 inKittery, ME. She was the daughter of Elisha Andrews and RebeccaWeymouth.
