Narrative
William was a lumberman among the first emigrants from NewEngland to Wisconsin and Minnesota for the express purpose ofmanufacturing vast pine forests of those states into lumber,many of whom intended to return East when the task wasaccomplished. Weymouth did not return East. He combined farmingwith his lumbering operations. He was a Baptist and aRepublican. He was married to Charlotte HERRING on 12 Aug 1820in Guilford, ME.
