Jonathan Ross was of Shapleigh and Harrison, Me., a son ofJonathan Ross of Berwick, a Revolutionary soldier and linealdescendant of hugh Ross of Belfast, Ireland, and Kittery andBerwick, Me.; of Maturin Ricker of Cocheco, NH, killed by theindians June 4, 1706; and of Anthony Emery of Newbury, Mass.,1635.
