Abraham Ogier, (1739-98). served as a private in Capt. BenjaminLamont's company, Col. John Allen's regiment, 1777. He was bornin France and died in Boston. Lewis Ogier, (1760-1849), served with his father in the defenseof Machias, 1777. He was born in England; died in Camden, Maine,and on his tombstone is Fifer in the Revolutionary war.
