I Peregrine White of Marshfield in ye County of Plimouth in NewEngland Being aged and under many Weaknesses and BodilyInfirmities But of Sound disposing mind and memory praises beRendered to Almighty God therefore yet in dayly Expectation ofmy Great Change Do herefore hereby make and Declare this my lastWill and Testament hereby Revoking and making null any formerWill or Wils by me heretofore made and declare this to be mylast Will and Testament and no other-- Imprimis I Humbly Commit my Soul to Almighty God that Gave itand my Body to decent Buriall and it Shall Please him to take mehence And Touching my Worldy Estate which it hath pleased theLord to Bless me with my Will and meaning is that ye same Shallbe imployed and disposed as followeth that is to say after myjust debts and funerall expenses are payd and discharged by myExecutors hereafter named and same shall be Imployed as hereinis expressed Item I Give and Bequeath to Sarah my welbelovedWife all my Goods and Chattels not otherways disposed of by thismy Will the same to be for her Support and Comfort for andduring ye term of her naturall Life. Item I having already byDeed under my hand and Seal Dated the 19th day of August 1674Given and Confirmed to my Eldest Son Daniel White my Tenement orHomestead with other my land and Rights of Land in ye Townshipof Marshfield with ye Exceptions and Reservations thereinmentioned--All which lands and premisses I hereby futher Confirmunto him according to ye true meaning of ye said Deed And I dohereby further Give and Bequeath to my said Son Daniell my Greattable and fourms my Joynworke Bedstead and Cupboard Also I giveunto my said son Daniel ye one moiety or half of my lands andRights of land in ye Township of Middleborough Always providedthat in Consideration thereof he the said Daniel Keep for theuse of my said wife both Sumer and Winter one Cow during ye lifeof my said wife Item I having enjoyned ye said Daniel to payunto my Daughters Sarah and Mercy each of them ye sum of Tenpounds as in ye above Recited Deed is mentioned. It is my willtha twhat is behind and unpaid by him be duly paid to them outof his Estate according to ye meaning of ye said Deed. Item IGive and Bequeath the other moiety or half my land and Rights ofland in ye Township of Middleborough to my two sons Jonathan andPeregrine to be equally parted betweene them I further Give tomy said son Jonathan my Rapier and to his Eldest son I Give myGun. Item It is my will that all my said Goods and Chattels thatshall be remaining at my wife her decease be Equally partedbetween my four children namely Jonathan Peregrine Sarah andMercy And further it is my will that Sarah my wife enjoy thatpart of ye Dwelling house that I now live in and enjoy And Ihereby Give her the one third of ye Rents and profits of ye landcontayned in ye above Recited Deed to hold to her during ye termof her Naturall life.
