Narrative
David Vinton was the 4th generation of Vintons in this country.The ancestor who came to America was John Vinton who came fromFrance about 1640. All the children were born in Lynn,Massachusetts. He resided in Braintree (now Randolph) till 1752,when he moved to Stoughton, an adjoining town. He was admittedto the Third church in Braintree, now First in randolph, April24, 1768. About 1780 he moved from Stoughton to Willington,Conn, where he and his wife died,
