Narrative
!William Chesebrough moved in 1826 from Knox to GuilderlandCenter and was a blacksmith by trade. In 1836, he sold hisblacksmith shop and bought 100 acres of timberland inGuilderland. He may have died 1877, vice 1875. CHESEBROUGH GEN.! Williams will, dtd 8 Nov 1871, recorded 22 May 1876, (vol 20,p.36) left to his son, Thaddeus, all property real and personal;to wife, Roxanna, all lawful rights; to daughters Sarah, Maria,and Mary, $1,000 each to be paid by executor within one year ofmy decease.
