Narrative
Uncle Carrol and Aunt Winnie had three children, two boys and agirl. Both boys died at age 16, Fay of TB, Neil from a huntingaccident, (self inflicted gun shot while climbing over a fence),and Barbara at age 21, from polio. Aunt Winnie suffered astroke, and spent her remaining years in the Machias NursingHome. Uncle Carrol was killed in a automobile accident while onhis way to visit with Winnie. Winnie was an accomplished artist, painting mostly landscapes in oil. She also became a devotedsports fan, while in the nursing home, becoming veryknowledgeable of teams and players.Carol was the son of Henry Milks b.1862, NY and Ida Brown b.1866, NY.
