There are guardianship proceedings in thecourthouse of St. Lawrence Co. for the 3 orphan children asJudith died apparently soon after her husband. Jesse was in theWar of 1812. Jesse and Judith had the following children: l.Alonzo B born about 1820 probably at Rutland, Jefferson Co.,NY. In an 1850 deed he is listed as living at Hermon. I couldnot find in the census of the county. 2. Mary I. bornJune 1823 at Rutland, NY and died 1895-1897 at Doon, Lyon Co.,Iowa. She married Hartson Fisher Thomas in St. Lawrence Co.,NY. They are listed in the 1870 census of Dakota Territory. In1872 they homesteaded land at Doon, Lyon Co., Iowa. Hartson andMary are my ancestors. I have much information on their family,if you are interested. 3. Hannah b about 1829 at Hermon, NY.She married William H. Hull. They are listed in the 1850 censusat Hermon, NY.
