Narrative
It is supposed that William came to America with his brotherJohn on the second voyage to the New World in 1628. William"was the first settler on the Beverly side, having built in 1630near what is now called Woodbury's point. (ie: Lynch Park -Beverly, MA.) He joined the church in 1639 and was admittedFreeman 2 Jun 1641. His wife joined the church in 1640. Hiswill was dated 1 Apr 1663 and proved 26 Apr 1677."Freemen: June 2, 1641, William Woodbury C.R.
